Group BTS swept Japan's Oricon weekly streaming rankings for the second consecutive week.
According to the latest chart released by Oricon on the 28th, BTS's new song "Permission to Dance" played about 15.58 million times from the 19th to the 25th, topping the weekly streaming ranking.
"Butter", which recorded 13.42 million streams, came in second place. The song has exceeded 10 million weekly plays for 10 consecutive weeks since it entered the rankings on May 31.
The third place was also ranked "Dynamite," the BTS song. The song has been released for almost a year, but it has recorded a high number of playback of about 701 million times.
BTS was also very strong in streaming last week, posting "Permission to Dance", "Butter" and "Dynamite" respectively at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places on the chart.
They also posted a total of five songs on the list of new certified songs released by the Japan Record Association.
The Japan Record Association certifies Silver (30 million times), Gold (50 million times), Platinum (100 million times), and Diamond (more than 500 million times) depending on the cumulative number of plays of the song.
BTS is platinum-certified for "Boy With Luv". "Idol," "Film Out," and "Butter" obtained gold certification and "I Need You" obtained silver certification.
