BTS, Grand Prize for Albums at the Golden Disc Awards for 5 years in a row...IU's Digital Song Grand Prize.

Group BTS and IU lifted the trophy for the "Golden Disc Awards" this year following last year.

aespa, who successfully hit "Next Level" and "Savage" last year, won multiple awards in a total of four categories, including the Rookie of the Year award.

BTS and IU won the grand prize in the album category and digital music category, respectively, at the 36th Golden Disc Awards held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul on the 8th (Korea Standard Time).

Starting with the 32nd awards ceremony held in 2018, BTS has won the grand prize in the album category for the fifth consecutive year.

RM thanked many for sympathizing with the grand prize-winning album "BE," saying, "It is an album that participated from the planning stage to comfort the new COVID-19 pandemic situation."

At the awards ceremony on behalf of BTS members on long-term vacation, the performance of "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage" held in Los Angeles (LA) from November to December last year was revealed on TV screens.

IU, who showed off her aspect as a "music powerhouse" by hitting "Celebrity," "LILAC," and "Strawberry Moon" one after another last year, also won the grand prize in the music category this year following last year.

IU said, "Last year, I tried to work hard in my music activities in the sense of closing my 20s, but I feel like I closed my 20s well because you loved me so much (like this) and gave me an award."
