Composer Pdogg, who wrote a number of hit songs by the group BTS, has topped the list of copyright fees in Korea for the third consecutive year.
The Korean Music Copyright Association, a subsidiary of the Korean Music Copyright Association, announced on the 18th that Pdogg will win the grand prize in the field of writing and composing in the public sector at the 7th KOMCA Copyright Awards.
The Copyright Award is given to songwriters and composers who received the most copyright fees in each music sector in the previous year, and Pdogg has won the grand prize in the 5th and 6th.
As a producer of Big Hit Entertainment, he wrote and composed world-renowned hit songs such as BTS "Life Goes On," "Boy With Luv," "Spring Day," and "Fake Love."
In particular, "Boy With Luv" was selected as the "Song of the Year" of the copyright target last year, recording the largest number of streams among domestic music, even though it was released in 2019.
