SHINee has returned with a new album after two and a half years. With a long hiatus due to the successive enlistment of the members, they will release their seventh full-length album "Don't Call Me" on the 22nd and meet with fans.
"It's been a long time since all the members came together, so I enjoyed preparing for it," SHINee said at an online press conference. "Everyone has been fighting and passionately preparing for it."
ONEW also said, "I was happy to prepare for the event because I thought we were all together," adding, "We were separated from each other in different fields, but I think we can create more synergy with SHINee."
As it's been a while since SHINee made a comeback, she has set the focus of the album on "Transformation."
"The seventh regular album is like SHINee's Turning Point," Taemin said. "The title song is a song that melts our own color into a hip-hop genre that we have never tried before."
As TAEMIN said, the title song of the same name contains intensity and coolness instead of SHINee's unique freshness and boyishness. 808 Base and synthesizer sound are harmonized to increase immersion. In addition, the lyrics that directly unraveled the hurt after being thoroughly betrayed by the loved one are combined.
In addition to the title song, it contains a total of nine songs, including dance pop "Heart Attack," which sings love that turns pain into joy, R&B "Mary You" that gives off a jazz and Gospel atmosphere in the 80s, Future Sound Dance song "CØDE" that compares the process of approaching strangers to decryption, and "Body Rhythm."
SHINee also hosted an ARS event, which was designed from the album name "Don't Call Me," allowing fans to leave voice messages to SHINee.
The event received more than 1,000 calls in 10 seconds, which once received a great response from fans, with the server down.
