Korean actor Steven Yeun, who was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for the movie "Minari," will meet the home audience with an American TV drama series.
Steven Yeun will appear in a 10-part drama produced by A24, the North American distributor of "Minari," according to U.S. entertainment media Deadline on the 16th.
Steven Yeon rose to stardom by appearing in the popular zombie genre drama "Working Dead" in the U.S. from 2010 to 2017, and was nominated for "Minari" after moving the stage to the screen for active activities.
Media Deadline said the drama will be Steven Yeun's first TV comeback since "Working Dead," and that video streaming companies such as Netflix, Amazon, Apple and FX are fiercely competing to win the right to broadcast the drama.
The drama is a drama genre with comedy, and the title has yet to be decided.
Chinese-Vietnamese comedian Ali Wong was chosen as Steve Yeon's counterpart, and Korean-American drama producer Sungjin Lee played the showrunner, who is in charge of the drama.
