JYP Entertainment and group Stray Kids gave special memories to overseas patient fans.
JYP has been continuing its flagship CSR activity "Every Dream Matters!" since June 2019, a project that emotionally supports children with incurable diseases to boost their hopes.
This time, two overseas children talked about their precious dreams toward JYP artists. Ashlyn Stole, who lives in California, is undergoing continuous treatment after being diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at the age of eight. She became a fan of Stray Kids in 2018, the darkest period due to the disease. Kelsey McAuley, who lives in Canada, is preparing for a kidney transplant after being diagnosed with chronic renal failure, five peritoneal dialysis and Hashimoto thyroiditis in 2019.
The two, who said, "We're overcoming our illness with the songs of Stray Kids," dreamed of meeting the members, and this wish was delivered to JYP through the Make a Wish Foundation. Bang Chan and Felix met with global fans online in time for the non-face-to-face era and had an unforgettable special time. Bang Chan and Felix listened to the children and cheered. They also prepared various events such as singing songs that he wanted to hear and signing autographs.
