Group BTS's fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" has entered the Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200" for 60 consecutive weeks.
According to Billboard's latest chart released on the 20th, "Map of the Soul: 7," released in February last year, ranked 113th on the Billboard 200 this week.
The album debuted at number one on the "Billboard" 200 shortly after its release and remained on the charts for 60 consecutive weeks. It is the longest record for a Korean singer's album.
The total number of chart entries is 98 weeks more for BTS's "LOVE YOURSELF 結 Answer" album, which was released in August 2018, but "Map of the Soul: 7" is longer for consecutive chart entries.
BTS's "BE" album, which was released in November last year, has also continued to chart, ranking at number 117 on the latest Billboard 200.
Meanwhile, "Fearless," a re-record of Taylor Swift's second full-length album "Fearless" (Taylor’s Version) in 13 years, topped the Billboard 200 chart this week.
Billboard said this is the only case in which an album that has been re-recorded has topped the Billboard chart.
