Group DAY6 set its own initial best record with a new album as a whole group.

According to JYP Entertainment, DAY6's 7th mini-album "The Book of Us: Negentropy - Chaos swallow up in love", released on the 19th, was released on the album count site Hanteo Chart every day.

This is about a 1.5-fold increase from 47,956, the beginning of their sixth mini-album "The Demon" released in May 2020, and they will rewrite the group's own best performance.

"Negentropy" performed well on various music charts and boasted even popularity at home and abroad. At 2 p.m. on the 19th, the day of its release, it topped the Hanteo Chart's real-time charts, signaling its popularity, and topped the album daily charts for two days on the 20th and 21st. It ranked second on the Hanteo Chart Albums Weekly Chart (2021.04.19–2021.04.25) and Gaon Chart's 17th week 2021 retail album chart (2021.04.18–2021.04.24). As of 8 a.m. on the 20th, the song topped iTunes album charts in seven foreign regions, including Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey.

The 7th mini album symbolizes the brilliant completion of the book series "The Book of Us," which DAY6 has been developing since July 2019. In particular, about a year after the title song "Zombie" released in May last year, the five members Sungjin, Jae, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon make music as a whole and make it more meaningful to repay fans' waiting. Through the album, they formed a wide consensus by singing the theme, "In the end, the energy that restores us is love, and love brings us together."

The title song "You Make Me" topped major domestic music sites such as Melon, Genie, and Bugs shortly after its release, followed by all the songs in the new album. Young K and Wonpil took charge of the new song, adding hopeful lyrics to the new way of developing the melody, and revealed their infinite musicality as a "singer-songwriter band" with more solid vocal and performance skills.
