Director Isaac Jung & BLACKPINK selected as the "100 Influential Asians" Selection.

Director Isaac Jung, who directed the Academy Award-winning film "Minari" and girl group BLACKPINK were selected as influential Asians.

According to Golden House, a non-profit organization that protects Asian identity and sponsors cultural diversity, Chung and Black Pink were recently listed on the "100 Influential Asians" list.

The list included Christina Oh, the producer of "Minari" production company Plan B, Chloe Zhao of "Nomadland," who won three Academy Awards, and Simu Liu, who starred in the Marvel film "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings," which featured Asian superheroes.

K-pop fandom was also included as one of the 100. Golden House evaluated that K-pop fandom is also having a great social impact.
