Boy group Tomorrow X Together's second full-length album, will be released at the end of this month, surpassed its own record by preordering more than 520,000 copies in six days.
According to the album distributor YG Plus, their second full-length album "Chaos: FREEZE," which they will release on the 31st, exceeded 520,000 pre-orders as of the previous day. The figure is based on the number of pre-orders at home and abroad for six days from the 30th of last month, when pre-orders began.
"minisode 1: Blue Hour," a third mini-album released in October last year, recorded 300,000 pre-orders in about two weeks.
This time, less than a week after pre-orders began, the company Big Hit Music said.
Chaos Chapter: Freeze is the prelude to a new album series developed by Tomorrow X Together.
Starting with their debut album "Dream Chapter: Star" in 2019, they presented a trilogy of "Dream Chapter," and released "minisode 1: Blue Hour," a small story before moving on to a new series, last year.
They showed off their global fandom by ranking "minisode 1: Blue Hour" at 25th on Billboard's main album chart, "Billboard 200."
